Holy Week And Pascha In Pictures Featured Parish: Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church Watertown, MA

 

This year's Holy Week and Pascha was indeed a special one for the faithful of Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown, MA. The Watertown community was directly impacted by the tragic events that occurred at the Boston Marathon this past April. Following the violence that took place in Watertown, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston made two pastoral visits to the community and offered his prayers and support. The second visit came on Palm Sunday where His Eminence presided at the Divine Liturgy. In the wake of these difficult events, the faithful of Taxiarchae once again filled the church and offered their praise to the Risen Lord.
