Chairman of the State Duma Committee for International Affairs Alexei Pushkov is seriously concerned about the attitude to Christianity in Europe.
“From England to Norway, there are persecutions of Christians:
people are dismissed for wearing a cross. You can be “an open gay”, but not a Christian”, – Pushkov wrote on Twitter Thursday night. In his opinion, European “tolerance” is gradually turning into a dictatorship in the field of morals”.
“Europe is swept by an anti-Christian revolution. And they should not teach us”, – the head of the Duma Committee writes.
Earlier on Thursday, there appeared reports that the Norwagian NRK TV channel’s leading news presenter Cyr Christine Saelmann was forbidden to appear on the air wearing her cross; in the end, the journalist was fired.
